About the project
Bâti Profit took on the full cycle of construction works: from demolition and substrate preparation to the final turnkey finishing.
The challenge
The building preserves authentic ceiling heights, stucco décor and historic room proportions – and the challenge was not to «modernise» the space, but to integrate modern engineering systems without disturbing the historic character of the interior. Concealed air-conditioning ducts were fitted flush with the existing mouldings.
Scope of works
Result
The space combines the historic architecture of the Italian Riviera – high ceilings, stucco, a fireplace, access to a balcony with a sea view – with modern, functional appointments.
